Mindful of the LCCRJ’s predominantly white bias, its members monitor, evaluate, & address the racism within themselves & within Little Compton, Rhode Island, and most broadly the United States.

LCCRJ seeks not only for its members but also for the larger community to face, to learn from, and ultimately to grow beyond systemic racism.

Addressing racism may take many forms and actions, including readings, invitations to experts and/or legitimate voices to Sunday meetings, directed discussions, Letters-to-the-Editor, community-wide training sessions, meetings and collaborations with local institutions and organizations, Listening Circles, and non-violent protests.
